"I rediscovered yoga during my first pregnancy and was blown away by the impact it had on connecting my mind and body. It not only helped me during my labour but also gave me so much joy practicing with my babies in class.

I wasn't sure what to do after my maternity leave having being made redundant from the corporate world but an opportunity came along to support mums on their journey through motherhood and I haven't looked back".

I completed my 200hr yoga teacher training in 2018 with the aim to invoke those feelings in others. I did the training over an 11 month period and fell pregnant during it, making me look at yoga and my personal yoga practise in a whole new light. I've spent my adult life working in fashion, travelling daily up and down the country and climbing that career ladder at the detriment to my own health and personal life. Once I had my little boy, I knew things had to change.

I am super grateful to be teaching yoga, working it around family life and helping others find a better sense of balance in their lives too.

Life can be hectic and its important that we look after ourselves. We are all just trying our best, so take a deep breath, be a little kinder to yourself and do if you are interested to find out more. I value each and every person who joins my classes and I look forward to helping you achieve your wellness goals. x

Having first found yoga eight years ago as an antidote to the stresses and strains of working in the busy corporate world, I have been exploring it ever since. I am passionate about offering space for individuals from a range of backgrounds to work towards a calmer and clearer mind. My aim is to offer straightforward and light-hearted teaching that feels honest and accessible. Off the mat you're likely to find me in the water - swimming or surfing in the North Sea.

My name is Stacey, I have been interested and inspired by yoga for many years and am now so grateful to be able to share my passion with others.  I mainly teach Vinyasa as I love building heat in the body but also love the graceful transition between each pose.

My background in dance and gymnastics means I love to incorporate flexibility and strength drills into my classes and back bends are my absolute fave!  My other passions are astrology and cyclical living (women's cycles and the cycles of nature) which I also like to infuse into my classes or create workshops about these topics.  We are spiritual beings in a human body and I love the connection gained to this knowing through yoga.  I truly believe yoga is for every body and that it is life changing.  I look forward to welcoming you to my classes ❤️

I teach guided meditations which I handwrite myself, taking you on the journey out of chaos and into calmness. Using breath work and visualization techniques to enable you to deeply but effortlessly flow from unhelpful thoughts into a stream of helpful thinking. With each practice fine-tuning your mindset and strengthening your mind, I say meditation is like the gym for your brain.

I have practiced for about 7 years now, and I am waiting to do my yoga teacher training in person as soon as possible. I love fitness and have a level 3 personal training qualification as well as a spiritual life coaching certification. My hobbies are varied as I am a versatile person, I enjoy weight training, physical challenges like myd runs, surfing, cold water dips, painting, boxing, swimming, singing, MMA, poetry, writing, adventures, and all things spirituality. Something new? you name it, ill try it! I'm an advocate for mental & physical healing through body, mind and soul connection. As humans, I believe we deserve to live in balance and wholeness.

Hello, my name is Judith and I’m a passionate Kundalini Yogini, who has been inspired to train as a yoga teacher in order to share this beautiful practice with others. Being a Psychologist, I know how important emotional regulation and mental well-being is in today’s world. I have also suffered from anxiety in the past, myself. I can honestly say that I haven’t found anything as powerful as Kundalini Yoga to help people regain a sense of well-being and joy. This yoga is a complete technology that works on multiple levels to transform you from the inside out! I am so excited to have the opportunity to offer Kundalini Yoga with Gong classes at the Yoga Loft.

As well as doing yoga and psychology, I am currently learning French…which is taking ages as I’m not very good 😊 I also enjoy a spot of gardening and I took on an allotment two years ago to grow veg. Also, like many, over the lockdown, I took up outdoor swimming (well…dipping, really), which I love. If I have any time left I spend it with my two doggies, Amber and Cheeky and my two cats, Bear and Lulu.

Having been a science teacher for almost a decade, I’m fervently embarking on a new vocation as a sound therapist. I wish to bring the various therapeutic benefits of this practice to as many people as possible so they might have respite from and receive insight into life’s challenges.
Having always been sensitive to energy I’m fascinated by all forms of energy work and find sound energy to be the most tangible and visceral. It’s also a holistic modality that has a strong scientific understanding, in terms of how it affects you physiologically, which I can really get behind!
I’m so excited to be putting on soundbaths at The Yoga Loft, because not only can they be deeply relaxing on the one hand, but they can be truly transformative on the other. I look forward to seeing you in the studio.

I've been practising yoga for over 9 years and qualified in 2018 in my 200hr YTT and aerial yoga training with Yoga Therapies Life in Newcastle.  I've also attended a retreat and delved into forms of healing whilst in Bali in 2020.

I teach Vinyasa yoga combining various principles to harness energy through breathwork, movement, meditation and guidance through emotional well-being.  Yoga is my 'Go to Therapy'.  Time on my mat, provides space, clarity and opportunity to trust and be completely me.

I firmly believe Yoga finds you, and by practising and teaching this ancient art form and integrating it into my day-to-day life, has truly transformed my outlook and journey and it's an honour to guide and teach others how to follow their intuition too.

I'm an absolute people person and teaching Yoga allows me to connect to those who are similarly likeminded.

Studying to teach yoga was the best decision I ever made!

We are always on the look out for fellow yogi's to join the team and share your passion. If you would like to know more about being a teacher at The Yoga Loft or would be interested in bringing your class here, please get in touch.
